Get Grounded in Clay: A 4-Week Pottery Wheel Course

Ready to get your hands dirty and dive into the world of wheel-thrown pottery? In this six-week ceramics course, you'll learn the foundational techniques of the pottery wheel — from centering your clay to glazing your finished piece.

No experience? No problem. Whether you're brand new to the wheel or just need a refresher, this class is designed for ages 16+ who are ready to explore (and maybe fall in love with) the messy magic of mud.

What to Expect:

Weeks 1–2: Learn the art of centering — a beautifully frustrating and oddly hypnotic process — and begin shaping your first forms.
Week 2: Mugs and handles, Throwing
Weeks 3: Throwing and Trimming
Week 4: Glazing day! You'll add color, character, and the final touches to your new ceramic creations.

What's Included:

• Weekly 2-hour lessons with our fabulous (and patient) wheel-throwing instructor. They'll literally hold your hand if needed.

• One bag of buttery midfire clay.

• All firing and glazing services.

We’re a small studio and can’t offer reschedules, make-up classes, or class switches. Please double-check your calendar before registering.

When booking, only the first date of the session is shown. You will automatically be enrolled for six consecutive weeks from that date.

• Tuesdays at 10:00 AM

• Thursdays at 6:00 PM
